The Founding Story
RESET Renfew started with a simple problem. We knew what we wanted to do for our recovery, but we didn’t have the right setup to do it properly. Backyard cold plunges don’t hold up to Canadian winters, bathtubs aren’t cold or deep enough, and there were no real options here in the Ottawa Valley.
So we took the plunge. We built it.
RESET was created to bring consistent, high-quality cold exposure and sauna into one place. No guesswork. No compromises. Just a space you can rely on.

He’s a strong believer in building simple routines that help people feel their best, both physically and mentally. Outside of RESET, Joe is a proud husband and father, and values nothing more than time spent with his family.

Between running his construction company, being a husband and father, and staying active, he understands the importance of taking care of both body and mind. RESET was built to bring that same experience to the Renfrew community.

As a social service worker specializing in gerontology, she runs her own business supporting seniors across home, community, and long-term care settings, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life. She believes deeply in the physical and mental benefits of sauna and cold plunging, and loves helping others experience it for themselves. Her favourite part of RESET is supporting first-time visitors, encouraging them through the initial challenge, and seeing the confidence and energy they leave with. Outside the studio, she enjoys staying active, exploring new places, and spending time with her kids, who inspire her every day.
